SERIES COMBINATION
A series made up
of alphabetical letters or numerals or combinations of both may have one or
more terms missing, one term wrong etc. You have to find out the missing term
or identify the wrong term in the question from the given options. To solve
such problems first identify the rule on which the given series has been
generated.
Type – 1 Completion of given number
series.
Example 1. 7, 28, 49,
70, 91, 112

Answer: The
difference between the two consecutive terms 28-7 = 49-28 = 70 – 49 = …. is 21.
So the next term is 112 + 21 =

Series.

sequences is a mixtures of three series:
I sequences: 0, 5, 10,
….. II sequences: 4, 7, …… III sequences: 6, 9, 12, ……
The rule followed
by each sequences is +3.

The rule followed

the rule followed by II sequences is the square of corresponding numbers of I
sequences.
So the missing
terms is 9 + 5 = 14
